Overview:
When you need to link a sales channel product to an item in your accounting system and not all the products match by matching criteria set in the settings, you must manually match the products in Webgility Online.
Steps:
Step 1
Navigate to Products, and click on Product Catalog.
You can set or verify the product-matching settings in the upper right corner of the Product Catalog view. To go to Product settings, click the gear icon.
You will be directed to the Product settings, where you can check the product-matching criteria set between the sales channel and accounting items.

Step 2
The Product Catalog displays various tabs including "Missing in QuickBooks" and "Missing in Sales Channel".
Missing in QuickBooks: This tab displays a list of sales channel product names and SKUs not found in QuickBooks based on matching settings. In this example, we are using Shopify as the sales channel.
Missing in Shopify: Similar to the Missing in QuickBooks tab, the Missing in Shopify tab displays all QuickBooks products that are not found in Shopify based on matching settings.
Step 3
The items that are highlighted with the Red check mark ‘Not in QuickBooks’ means the sales channel item’s SKU# or Product Name doesn’t match with the QuickBooks SKU# or Item Name as per the matching criteria.
In the drop-down under the QuickBooks Product SKU/Name window that appears, select the appropriate product from the drop-down. This will show the list of all products from your accounting system.
Once the correct product is selected, click on the ‘Manual Matched’ button to start matching your products.
Match Using AI suggestions:
Webgility's AI assists in finding potential matches for missing Shopify products in QuickBooks. These suggestions are marked with a star icon and the message AI Suggested under the QuickBooks Name and QuickBooks Product SKU columns.
If the suggested matches are correct, click Confirm Match to the right of the product to finalize the matching.
View Your Existing ‘Manually Matched Products’ and ‘Re-Match" :
The Manually Matched tab displays a list of your manually matched products. If needed, you can "Unmatch" products and rematch them as required.
If you wish to unmatch any products, select the item and click UNMATCH. The unmatched product will move to the Missing Tab. From there you can re-match it.
