Payout posting error: Transaction is already in use.

Reason:

While un-syncing an order listed in the error message for Shopify Payout Report, the user might get an error message: the transaction is already in use.

Steps to resolve the error:

  1. The transaction is open in your QuickBooks accounting software, close the transaction in QuickBooks and re-try un-syncing and re-download the order through Webgility.

  2. If there are multiple users of Webgility/QuickBooks it could be a possibility the transaction is already open in one of the add-on users machine’s. Once it’s closed the transaction will be unsynced.
