Error Message: Could not allocate a new page for database ‘UnifyDB’ because of insufficient database

Possible Causes:

  1. Service interruptions during installation can occur when the system encounters issues while setting up or configuring the software. These interruptions may result from various factors such as network connectivity problems, insufficient system resources, or conflicts with other running processes. As a result, the installation process may be delayed, incomplete, or cause temporary disruptions in service.

  2. Outdated Database

Resolution:

A). End any active Webgility application instances from the Task Manager to resolve potential conflicts or performance issues and ensure smooth operation of Webgility

B). Verify the available disk space on the drive where Webgility is installed to ensure sufficient space for proper installation, operation, and future updates of Webgility.

C). To check the SQL services, open the Services window by typing services.msc in the Run dialog. Then, look for SQL-related services such as SQL Server (SQL ServerUNIFY) to ensure they are running properly.

D). After verifying the SQL services, proceed by running the "Unify DB Utility". Navigate to the directory: Webgility > UnifyEnterprise > UnifyDBUtility, and execute the utility to perform necessary database operations.

E). Please allow some time for this process to complete, as it can be time-consuming due to the need to re-utilize the existing database. Patience is required to ensure proper execution.

F). Once the DB utility run is complete, restart the Webgility application, and the issue should be resolved.

Still having issues, please reach out to us via Webgility Support.
