This error can happen while communicating with POS from Webgility Desktop Software. This usually happens in the case of Webgility Scheduler trying to communicate with POS and getting stuck.

This is a known issue from POS’s end but unfortunately, they have not released any permanent fix so we need to provide the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps as a workaround until a permanent resolution is available from Intuit’s end.

You may see this error at the time of connecting to QuickBooks POS or this may happen while sending data from Webgility to QuickBooks POS. Mentioned below are the troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.

Troubleshooting:

1). Check for any pending updates for the POS application and also for Windows O/S, and install if available.

2). Close the POS application on all the POS machines, then try to reboot the main POS Database machine.

3). Restart Webgility Application.

4). Restart POS services and to do so you need to open Local Services on the machine and look for QBPOS Database Manager right-click on it and select restart.

5). Disable POS logs and to do so you need to follow these steps: First stop the POS from the client machine. Go to the C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale 19.0\Ini Open Logger.ini file, add the following code to the file and Save

[LogSetting]

LogMsg=No

SDKLogMsg=No

6). Once done, open QuickBooks POS and try to connect Webgility with QuickBooks POS. If you were seeing this error while sending data over to QuickBooks POS, please try the process again.
