Resolve Store Connection Issues with Webgility Desktop

1). Check Your Credentials

Before you can successfully connect to your online store, you need to ensure that your credentials are accurate. This includes your login URL, username, password, and API token for the specified online store. Follow these steps:

  • Go to "Integrations> Stores> Manage Stores" within Webgility.

  • Click "Edit Connection" for the store that is experiencing the connection issue.

  • Then click on the Action button for the required store-facing the issue and then β€œTest Store Connection” to establish the connection.

  • Once you've been connected successfully, please proceed to update the store data.

Verifying the accuracy of your credentials is crucial to ensuring a successful connection with your online store. Make sure that you have the correct login URL, username, password, and API token for your specific store.

2). Antivirus Software Exemptions

Sometimes, antivirus software can interfere with the connection process. To prevent this, add C:\Webgility to your antivirus software's exemption list. After making this change, restart the Webgility software.

Adding the Webgility software to your antivirus exemption list can prevent it from being mistakenly flagged as a security threat, which can hinder the connection process.
