Error:
Please open QuickBooks in Single User Mode to Make Inventory Adjustments
Cause of the issue:
This issue typically arises when posting payout. This error can prevent you from proceeding with payout posting, and it occurs when the company file is currently being accessed in multi-user mode. QuickBooks requires that certain features, such as making inventory adjustments, are only performed in single-user mode to ensure data integrity and avoid conflicts when multiple users are accessing the same company file simultaneously.
Steps to fix:
Close QuickBooks on all the machines
Launch Quickbooks on the Webgility Desktop machine and switch it to single-user mode.
Now try to post the payout from Webgility Desktop.
Once done then you can switch back your QuickBooks to multi-user mode again.
