Overview:

This guide helps troubleshoot SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) service termination (Event ID: 7024). It covers potential causes like corrupted files and conflicts and provides quick steps for restarting services, running the DBUpgrade tool, adjusting antivirus settings, and installing SQL Server 2019.

Root Cause:

This error can happen for several reasons:

  1. Corrupted system files or registry keys

  2. Database corruption

  3. Incompatible database version

  4. Insufficient permissions

  6. Outdated drivers

  7. Conflicts with other applications

Troubleshooting Steps:

1). Restart SQL Server Services:

  1. Open the search bar and type "Services."

  2. Press "Enter."

  3. Find the SQL Server service for your database.

  4. Right-click and select "Restart."

This will restart the SQL service and allow normal database operations.

2). Run DBUpgrade for Webgility Unify Enterprise:

  1. Open "File Explorer."

  2. Go to "Local Disk C."

  3. Find the "Webgility" folder, then open "UnifyEnterprise."

  4. Right-click on "UnifyDBUpgrade" and select "Open."

Running DBupgrade will update your database. Wait for a confirmation message.

3). Add Webgility Scheduler Exception to Antivirus:
