Magento 2 - Invalid Credentials

This article helps Webgility Desktop users troubleshoot “Invalid Credentials” errors when connecting Magento 2 to Webgility Desktop. It provides guidance on verifying API user permissions, regenerating access tokens, and whitelisting required IP addresses to ensure a successful and secure integration.

Error Message:

Invalid credentials

Overview:

The most likely reason for the error stating Invalid Credentials while connecting a Magento 2 sales channel with the Webgility application is that the credentials you have used to log in to the Magento 2 sales channel are incorrect. This could be due to a typo or incorrect information entered when setting up the credentials. To fix this issue, ensure that the credentials you are using to log in to the sales channel are correct and re-attempt the connection.
