Magento 2 - Invalid credentials

The most likely reason for the error stating Invalid Credentials while connecting a Magento 2 sales channel with the Webgility application is that the credentials you have used to log in to the Magento 2 sales channel are incorrect. This could be due to a typo or incorrect information entered when setting up the credentials. To fix this issue, ensure that the credentials you are using to log in to the sales channel are correct and re-attempt the connection.

Error Message:

Invalid credentials

Troubleshooting

1). In Magento 2, the 0Auth access generally set to disabled status by default. To enable this, Navigate to Stores then goto Configuration and then Services then look for OAuth and then Consumer Settings and set “Allow OAuth Access Tokens to be used as standalone Bearer tokens” to YES. Once done then click on Save Config

2). Now edit the Integrated user that you have created for Webgility and check we have All resource access to the API, by selecting from the dropdown menu under Available APIs and Custom resource access to the API by selecting from the dropdown menu under Available APIs. Here

3). Reauthorize the Access Token for the user that is created for Webgility by going to Admin and then System and click on Integrations.

4). Copy the Access Token and click Done.

5). Update the New Access Token in Webgility Desktop by navigating to Integration and then Stores then clicking on Manage and then Edit Connection

6). Click Connect to Magento.

7). If you are still getting the same error, whitelist the below IPs and then check the Sales Channel Connection.

  • 54.69.99.71

  • 183.182.84.170

  • 111.118.255.21
