Error Cause and Resolution:
When posting an order into QuickBooks Online, this error occurs if the selected sales tax item is incorrect.
Ensure the correct item is chosen to post the sales tax in QuickBooks as a line item.
Steps:
Follow the steps below and attempt to post the order again:
1. Navigate to Settings (left-hand bottom corner) → Accounting → Products → Click on the drop-down menu, select "Download from Scratch," and click the Refresh icon.
2. Go to Settings (left-hand bottom corner) → Accounting → Sales Tax → Select the correct line item to record the sales tax and Save the settings.
