Ignore &amp; Mark Items as Drop Shipped in Webgility Desktop

In Webgility Desktop, there are two ways to mark items - as ignored or drop ship - depending on the situation. Here's why you might want to use each option:

Ignored: You might want to mark items as ignored if they are not relevant to your accounting or inventory management. For example, if you sell promotional items or free samples that do not affect your inventory levels, you can mark them as ignored to exclude them from accounting and inventory management. Marking an item as ignored will prevent it from syncing with QuickBooks or other accounting software.

Drop Ship: You might want to mark items as drop ship if you do not keep them in stock and instead rely on your supplier to ship them directly to your customers. When you mark an item as drop ship, it will be excluded from inventory management and will not be included in any inventory counts or reorder reports. Instead, when you receive an order for a drop ship item, you will purchase the item from your supplier and have them ship it directly to the customer.

Steps to mark the items as ignored or drop ship

To mark, specific items Ignored within the Webgility inventory module, navigate to Products&gt; All Products. Select the item you wish to mark as Ignore and click on the Ignore button, highlighted on the bottom left side of the window shown below.

To mark your specific items Dropship within the Webgility inventory module, navigate to Products&gt; All Products of Quickbooks. Select the item you wish to mark as Dropship, and click on the Dropship button.
