Overview:
The customer encounters this error message when attempting to run the DB upgrade process. In this article, we will highlight the steps you can take to resolve this error effectively.
Steps of troubleshooting:
1. Begin by logging into your account at portal.webgility.com (https://portal.webgility.com/login.php).
2. Navigate to the Downloads section at the bottom left of your account page and click Download.
3. Open your downloads folder, locate the WebgilityDownloader.zip file, right-click on it, and select Extract All to unzip the file.
4. Next, open the newly created Webgility Downloader folder. Inside, you will find a subfolder named Webgility Downloader. Right-click on the Webgility Downloader Application and select Run as administrator to initiate the installation process.
5. You may see a prompt asking for permission to allow the application to make changes to your device; please click Yes or Allow to proceed.
6. The complete software will now begin downloading, which may take a few minutes depending on your internet connection speed.
7. After the download is complete, a pop-up will appear displaying the License Agreement. Please take a moment to review the agreement, select the option to accept it, and then click Next.
8. A new window will prompt you to Select Destination Location for the Webgility software. Choose the folder where you would like the software to be installed, and then click Next. It is advisable to install it on your C:/ drive for best results.
9. You will have the option to create a Start Menu Folder for easy access. Choose your preferred location and click Next.
10. If you would like a shortcut to Webgility on your desktop, simply click Next.
11. You are now prepared to install Webgility on your computer! To start the installation, click Install.
12. You're almost finished! The software will now be installed on your computer, and this process may take several minutes.
Once the installation is complete, click Finish to launch the Webgility software and the issue should be resolved.
