Release notes for Webgility Online v8.54.0
We're excited to introduce Multi-Currency Sync Support for Shopify + QuickBooks Online transactional users.
What's new?
Multi-Currency Sync for Shopify + QuickBooks Online
Multi-Currency Sync for Shopify + QuickBooks Online
- Shopify merchants who sell in multiple currencies can now have every transaction recorded in the currency the customer actually paid in — not converted into the store's home currency.
- All multi-currency scenarios in Shopify are supported including Shopify Markets, Shopify Payments Multi-Currency (pre-Markets feature) and draft / manual orders.
- Orders, refunds, deposits, and fees all sync in their original payment currency, giving you an accurate, currency-true picture of your business in QuickBooks.
- For each currency your store accepts, you can configure currency-specific clearing accounts, deposit accounts, expense accounts, and vendors — so a CAD order goes to your CAD clearing account, a EUR payout goes to your EUR bank account, and fees in each currency post to the right expense account and vendor. No manual adjustments, no cross-currency noise in QBO.
