Release notes for Webgility Online v8.24.2

This article highlights the new features introduced in Webgility Online v8.24.2 for Shopify users. The release enables accurate download and syncing of Shopify order edits made before fulfillment, including item additions/removals, quantity changes, and updates to shipping fees or discounts. Webgility Online ensures that these edits, along with related payments or refunds, are correctly recorded in the accounting system. For sales receipts or invoices marked as always-paid, edited transactions can only be posted after payment to prevent reconciliation issues. Additionally, the order history logs all edits and restricted posting attempts, and the UI has been updated to rename the ‘Accept’ button to ‘Accept & Post update’ for improved clarity.

Webgility Online 8.24.2 is live

We're thrilled to introduce new features on Webgility Online for Shopify users.

All edits made to Shopify orders before fulfillment—such as item additions/removals, quantity changes, and updates to shipping fees or discounts—will be downloaded into the order details.
When posted, Webgility Online ensures these changes, along with related payments or refunds, are accurately recorded in the accounting software.
For sales receipts or always-marked-as-paid invoices, edited order transactions can only be posted after payment is received to prevent reconciliation issues.
Order history will log all edits and any restricted posting attempts.
UI update: The ‘Accept’ button for order updates has been renamed to ‘Accept & Post update’ for clarity.
