Smart Default Setup Based on Business Type - Essentials vs Pro(Advanced)
- New trial users are now presented with simple questions during signup to better understand how they manage payments, inventory, and product costs. Based on their responses, Webgility intelligently assigns the user to the Essentials or Pro onboarding path and pre-configures their setup.This helps in:
- Reducing setup friction by pre-selecting the most relevant accounting method (e.g., journal entry or transactional posting)
- Aligning default preferences to fit each business type — Essentials for simpler businesses, Pro for those managing SKUs, inventory, or partial payments
