Release notes for Webgility Online v8.20.0

This article highlights the key features introduced in Webgility Online v8.20.0. The release includes automatic sync of inventory, price, and cost values from sales channels to QuickBooks Online (QBO) via the Scheduler, allowing users to maintain up-to-date product information in both directions. Additionally, users can now track classes at the item level in QuickBooks Online transactions created through Webgility Online. The class value assigned to each item is automatically applied to related transactions, providing more granular tracking and improved reporting. These enhancements streamline data management, improve accuracy, and support more detailed accounting practices.

We're thrilled to introduce two new enhancements on Webgility Online!

What's new?

  • Automatic Sync of Inventory, Price and Cost values from Sales Channel to QBO
    • Users can now setup an automatic sync (via Scheduler) of inventory, price and cost values from sales channel to QBO in Webgility Online.
    • In the past, WO users could only sync product details from QBO to Sales channels via Scheduler but not vice-versa.
    • Check the Products section within Automation > Scheduler rules settings to try it out. Learn More.
  • Track Classes in QBO at an item-level
    • Users can now track classes at an item-level for transactions created in QBO via Webgility Online.
    • We will auto-insert the class value set for the item, into any QBO transaction that the item is a part of.
    • Note: It is a pre-requisite that the QuickBooks Class setup is complete, for this feature to work as expected.
    • In the past, we would only allow users to assign the same class to all transactions.
