Release notes for Webgility Online v 8.40.0

We’re excited to announce the new Flags tab on the Orders page — a proactive way to catch and resolve potential posting issues before they impact your accounting sync. With Order Flags, you can easily identify orders that need attention, see exactly what action is required, and fix them before posting. This helps reduce manual corrections, improve sync success rates, and create a smoother, more reliable posting experience.

What's New?

Introducing Order Flags to prevent errors

  • We've added a dedicated Flags tab on the Orders page to help catch potential posting errors before they happen.
  • Flagged orders are surfaced proactively so that users can review & fix them before syncing to the accounting system
  • The Action Needed column tells you exactly what to do to resolve each flag
  • Once resolved, orders automatically move back to New Orders, ready to post. You can also post directly from the Flags tab if needed. 
  • In this version, issues related to Products and order detail will be flagged. Future iterations will include issues related to Accounts and Customers.
Why it matters: Posting errors have been one of the most frequently cited pain points for Webgility Online customers. Order Flags directly address this by surfacing issues before they happen — reducing errors customers need to manually resolve and driving higher sync success rates.
