How to Resolve Missing Order Downloads from Shopify in Webgility Online
This article explains Webgility Online users why some Shopify orders may not appear immediately after connecting the store to Webgility Online. It outlines the root causes of delayed or incomplete downloads and provides guidance on what to expect during the initial download process.
Overview
You might encounter this issue: after connecting Shopify to Webgility Online, not all Shopify orders were downloaded; some were missing. This may take more time for initial synchronization.
Root Cause
When a new Shopify connection is established in Webgility Online, large order volumes trigger an initial data synchronization. Slow downloads can occur due to:
- Volume of orders in Shopify
- Shopify API rate limits
- Network latency
- Webgility Online batch processing
