How to Fix Post to Store Issues After a Webgility Desktop Update

Verify your sales channel location and Post to Store settings when store updates stop working after a Webgility Desktop update.

Overview

After a Webgility Desktop update, Post to Store may not work if the store location is missing or incorrect in your sales channel settings.

Follow the steps below to verify the location and test the Post to Store feature.

Resolution

1. Verify the Store Location

  1. Open Webgility Desktop.
  2. Go to Connections > Sales Channels > Manage Sales Channels.
  3. Find the affected sales channel and click Edit.
  4. Make sure the correct Store Location is selected.
  5. Click Save.

For more information, see How to Configure the Sales Channel Settings in Webgility Desktop.

2. Test Post to Store

  1. Go to Orders and locate the affected order.
  2. Select the order and click Post to Store.
  3. Check the order in your online store to confirm that the update was received.

For more information about Post to Store, see How to Use and Configure the Post-to-Store Feature.

Note: The information that can be updated through Post to Store depends on your sales channel and configuration.

Automatically Archive Posted Orders

If you want orders to be moved to the Archive tab automatically after posting, configure an archive automation rule.

Go to Orders > Automation Rules > Archive Orders and enable the appropriate automatic archive option.

For detailed instructions, see How to Configure Automation Rules to Archive Orders and Post Updates.

If the Issue Persists

If Post to Store still does not work after verifying the store location, contact Webgility Support with the affected order number, store name, and any error message displayed.
