How to Connect Shopify After Removing Magento from Webgility Desktop

This article helps Webgility Desktop users to ensure proper synchronization between QuickBooks Desktop and newly integrated Shopify channel following the removal of an old channel (ex. Magento) in Webgility Desktop. It includes guidance on reviewing configuration settings, clearing legacy data conflicts, and validating sync operations after platform migration.

This article provides support steps for ensuring QuickBooks syncs correctly with a newly integrated Shopify store after Magento removal. 

Prerequisites:

  • Magento channel has been removed from the Webgility Desktop.
  • You can check by navigating to Connections > Sales Channels > Manage Sales Channels and then see if the previous Magento is still listed. You can use the Delete button to remove the store from this screen.

Confirm Shopify Integration:

  • Follow the steps given in the following help article,  to connect your Shopify sales channel with Webgility. 
  • Configure your sales channel settings once it has been connected.

  • Now you can integrate your Quickbooks and configure necessary settings. 

NOTE: As soon as you remove a sales channel, its respective store profile and all the data for the same will get deleted from Webgility Desktop Database.
