Fix the error: "Payout is Partially Posted to QuickBooks" Error

This article explains to Webgility Desktop users about the “Payout is Partially Posted to QuickBooks” error that may occur in Webgility Desktop when attempting to remove or re-download a payout. The error indicates that part of the payout has already been posted to QuickBooks, preventing further actions. To resolve this, the partially posted payout must be undone before it can be re-downloaded or removed, ensuring proper synchronization between Webgility and QuickBooks.

Error Message:

You may encounter the error message "Payout is partially posted to QuickBooks. Please undo-sync the payout and try again." when attempting to remove or re-download a payout.


Steps to fix:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Pending’ Payouts Tab:

    • Open Webgility Desktop and go to the ‘Pending’ payouts section.

  2. Select the Payout:

    • Find and select the specific payout that you are trying to remove or re-download.

  3. Undo Partial Posting:

    • Click on the ‘Undo Partially Posted’ button located at the bottom left of the screen.

  4. Re-download/Remove payout:

Following these steps should resolve the issue and allow you to successfully remove or re-download the payout.
