How to Run Webgility & QuickBooks Applications as Admin
Running the Webgility application and QuickBooks in admin mode can be essential for these reasons:
1. Administrative Permissions:
Certain features and functions in Webgility and QuickBooks need elevated system permissions to access resources and perform tasks. Running these applications in admin mode guarantees they have the necessary access to operate effectively.
2. System Configuration:
Certain configuration changes in Webgility or QuickBooks may need administrative privileges. For instance, updating network settings, changing system preferences, or installing updates and plugins typically require admin access to complete these adjustments.
Procedure to run Webgility as Admin:
Ensure that all instances of Webgility are closed and that no active processes are running.
To make the required changes, right-click on the "Webgility" application and select the "Properties" option.
Once the “Properties” prompt loads up, look for the “Advanced” option and checkmark “Run as Administrator.”
Once done, click on “Ok”, this will automatically close the Windows prompts.
Launch the “Webgility”, voila. Its done and this will launch Webgility everytime as administrator.
Procedure to run QuickBooks as Admin:
Ensure that all instances of Quickbooks are closed and that no active processes are running.
To make the required changes, right-click on the "Webgility" application and select the "Properties" option.
Once the “Properties” prompt loads up, look for the “Advanced” option and checkmark “Run as Administrator.”
