Download Orders By ID
This help article guides Webgility Desktop users on downloading specific orders from their sales channel using the “Download Orders By ID” feature. It explains how to enter individual order IDs, add multiple orders, and remove entries if needed. The article also clarifies that in some shopping carts, such as Shopify, the Order ID may differ from the visible order number and provides guidance on locating it. Following these steps helps users efficiently retrieve specific orders for processing within Webgility.
Steps to follow:
- In Webgility Desktop go to the Dashboard and then in the bottom-left corner select the "Get New Orders" dropdown by clicking on the small down arrow. Then select 'Orders By ID'.
- You will see a pop-up window "Get Order By Order#". Enter the specific Online order ID of the order and then click on Add.
- Usually the Order ID is available on the URL when you open an order in your sales channel backend.
- Multiple order numbers can be entered one at a time. Once they are entered, click Get Orders to download the requested orders.
- If you accidentally mistype or need to remove an order from the list you create, select the order, then click Remove.
Note: In some shopping carts, the Order ID is not the order number but a unique ID in the store database. For example, in the case of Shopify, the order ID can be viewed in the URL of the order when viewing it in the admin area of the Shopify store
