Multi-channel Inventory Sync in Webgility Online
This article guides Webgility Online on the setup and functionality of the Multi-Channel Inventory Sync feature in Webgility Online. Designed for merchants managing multiple sales channels, this feature ensures inventory consistency by syncing stock quantities from a designated master channel to all connected non-master channels. By centralizing inventory control, it helps prevent overselling, reduces manual updates, and supports smoother order fulfillment across platforms. The article provides step-by-step instructions for configuration, item matching, and ongoing sync behavior to help users maintain accurate inventory levels across their e-commerce ecosystem.
Prerequisites
Before enabling Multi-Channel Inventory Sync:
-
Ensure that at least two sales channels are connected and fully configured in Webgility Online.

Once multiple channels are connected, the Multi-Channel Inventory Sync feature will become visible and accessible under the Products module.
Note: Once Multi-Channel Inventory Sync is enabled, the individual product inventory sync automation rules will be disabled and replaced by this centralized sync process.

Sync Behavior
-
Once saved, Webgility will begin syncing quantities every hour.

Only items successfully mapped using the defined criteria will be included in the sync.
