Error: A QuickBooks company data file is already opened and it is different from the one requested or there are multiple company files open.
Issue:
You might receive this error while posting the orders to QuickBooks desktop.
Reason:
Webgility is unable to connect with QuickBooks as there might be multiple company files open in QuickBooks on the computer where it is connected with Webgility or the company file that is connected with Webgility has a different location than the one that is open in QuickBooks.
Troubleshooting:
1). Press F2 or Ctrl+1 on the keyboard to get the company file location in QuickBooks. Select and copy the location path from here.
2). Click on Integrations and navigate to Accounting/POS/ERP and then Edit Connection to check the location saved in Webgility settings.
3). If you find different locations, then copy the correct location from QuickBooks and paste it into the Webgility settings.
4). Reconnect Webgility with QuickBooks by clicking on Test Connection and saving it.
