Overview:

This error message typically occurs when a QuickBooks sales receipt contains a reference to a customer that has a currency that is different from the home currency or the currency used in the transaction. QuickBooks requires that the currency of the customer in a sales receipt must match either the home currency or the transaction currency.

How to resolve the issue

  1. Check the currency of the customer in QuickBooks and ensure that it matches either the home currency or the transaction currency.

  2. If the customer's currency is different from the transaction currency, you may need to create a new customer in QuickBooks with a currency that matches the transaction currency.

  3. Check the sales receipt to ensure that all currency values are entered correctly and match the transaction currency.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. To resolve this issue, you need to map the currencies with the specific accounts set to the same currency. For example, if you receive orders in USD, CAD, and MXD currencies, you need to select a USD deposit account and a USD AR account for orders in USD currency. Similarly, you need to select a deposit account set in CAD for orders downloaded in CAD.
