WooCommerce Order Number Sequence Changed (Due to third-party plugin)
This article helps Webgility application users understand and resolve issues caused by changes to WooCommerce order number sequencing due to third-party plugins. Webgility Desktop and Webgility Online rely on the order number to download new orders accurately. While Webgility supports WooCommerce’s Sequential Order Number plugin, the use of other third-party plugins that modify order numbers can disrupt the sequence, preventing Webgility from identifying or downloading new orders correctly. When a custom order number plugin alters or overrides the expected sequence, Webgility may fail to read the correct order numbers and the sync process can be affected. This article guides users through reviewing installed WooCommerce plugins, identifying unsupported custom order number plugins, deactivating or removing them, and then retrying the order download process in Webgility.
Overview:
One of the key requirements for downloading new orders in the Webgility Desktop/Webgility Online application is the Order Number. Currently, the Webgility Desktop/Webgility Online application supports the 'Sequential Order Number' plugin from the WooCommerce platform. If you are using any other third-party plugin to assign order numbers in WooCommerce, it may disrupt the order number sequence and impact the order download process in the Webgility Desktop/Webgility Online application.

Guide to address this:

-
In the search box, search for ‘Custom Order Number’. Once this plugin is accessible in the list then click on Deactivate button for the same, once deactivated then you can click on Delete to remove it completely.
