An unrecoverable error may appear after attempting to update Webgility Desktop. The error might persist if background processes are still running or if the company file requires maintenance.


Resolution Steps

1. Assess the Error

If the error occurred during or just after an update, take note of the exact wording of the error message. This can help identify whether a database process is still running.


2. Wait for Background Processes to Complete

If any database or background tasks are visible, allow them to finish without interruption.
In most cases, it's best to wait 15–30 minutes before taking further steps.


3. Retry the Action

After waiting, try reopening Webgility Desktop or performing the same action again.
If the error still appears, continue to the next step.

4. Re-install Webgility
