Step 1: Enable Sales Tax as a Line Item

  1. Navigate to your Webgility Settings panel.
  2. Locate Sales Tax settings under Connections > Accounting/POS/ERP > Syn Settings.
  3. Find and enable the option labeled Post Sales Tax as Line Item or similar.
    • This setting ensures all future orders post sales tax amounts as separate line items in QuickBooks.
    • Confirm and save your changes.

Step 2: Add or Map Payment Methods

  1. In Webgility, go to the Payment Methods or Payment Mapping section under Sync Setting.
  2. Review the list of available payment methods. Identify any methods missing from integration.
  3. To add a payment method:
    • Click Add Payment Method.
    • Select or create the desired payment method to match your order data.
    • Ensure it matches the configuration in QuickBooks to prevent mapping errors.
