Issues may arise when integrating orders into QuickBooks, such as:

- Missing payment methods preventing successful order posting
This guide describes how to resolve these issues by adjusting integration and payment settings.
Symptom Details
- Sales tax did not appear as an itemized line in posted transactions.

Step 1: Enable Sales Tax as a Line Item
- Navigate to your Webgility Settings panel.
- Locate Sales Tax settings under Connections > Accounting/POS/ERP > Syn Settings.
- Find and enable the option labeled Post Sales Tax as Line Item or similar.

- Review the list of available payment methods. Identify any methods missing from integration.
- To add a payment method:

- Select or create the desired payment method to match your order data.
- Ensure it matches the configuration in QuickBooks to prevent mapping errors.
- Save the settings.
Step 3: Post an Order to Test
- Create or select a test order with sales tax and the newly mapped payment method.
- Post the order to QuickBooks.
- In QuickBooks, verify:
- Sales tax appears as a line item in the transaction.
- The order is posted using the correct payment method.
