Resolving Amazon Settlement Report Posting Issues Due to Consolidation Reports in Webgility Desktop

This article helps Webgility Desktop users resolve issues where Amazon settlement reports fail to post fully, with some orders showing as "partially settled." The issue is often caused by a consolidation report that has already posted the same order, preventing the settlement report from completing. The article provides steps to identify and resolve this conflict.

Symptoms:

  • Amazon settlement report fails to post to QuickBooks.

  • Orders appear in a partially settled state.

  • Errors or warnings refer to consolidation or already-posted transactions.


Steps to Resolve the Issue:

1. Identify the Issue

  • During posting, if you receive an error related to a specific order already posted via a consolidation report, that order may be causing the block.

2. Undo the Consolidation Report

  • In Webgility Desktop, go to:
    Orders > Reports > Consolidation

  • Search for the affected order using the order number.

  • Select the report and click Undo Sync to unpost it.

3. Retry Posting the Settlement Report

  • Go back to the Settlement Reports section.

  • Reattempt posting the Amazon settlement report to QuickBooks.

  • Confirm that the report now completes successfully and the settlement shows as fully posted.
