Resolving Amazon Settlement Report Posting Errors at the Payment Stage in Webgility Desktop

These errors can interrupt the financial reconciliation process, and the article provides steps to identify and correct the underlying issues for successful posting to QuickBooks Desktop.

Common Symptoms:

  • Errors appear specifically while posting payments from a settlement report.

  • Posting or syncing does not complete successfully.

  • You may notice that the sync was partially completed or interrupted.


Steps to Resolve the Issue:

  1. Undo the Sync

    • Open Webgility Desktop and go to the Settlement Reports section.

    • Locate the report with the issue.

    • Right-click and choose Undo Sync or Undo Partially Posted, depending on the status.

  2. Remove and Redownload the Report

    • Select the same report again.

    • Click Remove icon.

    • After removing, click the Re-download button that appears.

  3. Reattempt Posting

    • Once the report is downloaded again, try posting it.

    • Monitor whether the payment stage now completes without error.
