Resolving Amazon Reports Stuck in 'Not Posted' Status in Webgility Desktop

This article helps Webgility Desktop users resolve issues where Amazon settlement reports remain stuck in the Not Posted tab, preventing proper syncing with QuickBooks Desktop. It explains common causes such as missing data or import inconsistencies and provides steps to fix the problem for successful posting.

Symptoms:

  • Amazon settlement report remains in the Not Posted tab.

  • The report does not move to the Posted tab even after posting is attempted.


Steps to Resolve:

1. Undo Posting (If Previously Attempted)

  • In Webgility Desktop, go to the Not Posted or Posted tab.

  • Select the affected report.

  • If the Undo Partially Posted option is available, select it.

2. Remove the Problematic Report

  • In the Not Posted tab, locate the settlement report that's not posting.

  • Select the report.

  • Click the Remove icon (located at the far right when the report is selected). This deletes the local copy of the report from Webgility.

3. Re-Download the Settlement Report

  • After removing, you'll be prompted to re-download the report.

  • Choose the correct date range that includes the missing report(s).

  • Proceed with the re-download.

4. Re-Post the Report

  • Once the report is re-downloaded, go back to the Not Posted tab.

  • Right-click on the report and select Post.

  • Monitor the status to confirm that it moves to the Posted tab successfully.
