Resolve Shopify Payout Posting Error: Orders Not Downloaded or Posted to QuickBooks Desktop
This article helps Webgility Desktop users troubleshoot the error message, “Some of Your Orders Are Still Not Downloaded or Posted to Accounting. So the payment was not created for those order related payout amount,” which appears when posting Shopify payouts to QuickBooks Desktop. This error usually indicates that Webgility Desktop was unable to sync all orders associated with a payout, often due to a missing order in the system files.
tep 1: Open the apiConfig.xml
File

Open File Explorer on your computer.

Navigate to:
C:\Webgility\UnifyEnterprise\XML

Locate the file:
apiConfig.xml
✅ Step 2: Add a Customization Node

Right-click the
apiConfig.xml
file > Select Open with Notepad. -
Scroll to the bottom of the file (last 3–4 lines).

Just above the closing tags (before
</ArrayOfCustomizationNode>
), paste the following line:

<CustomizationNode>SHOPIFY_SHOPCASH_CHARGE_ADJUSTMENT_AMOUNT</CustomizationNode>
💡 Be careful not to delete or modify any existing entries.
✅ Step 3: Save and Restart Webgility

In Notepad, click File > Save.

Close the file.

Log out of Webgility Desktop and log back in.
🔁 Step 4: Retry Posting the Payout
Try posting the same payout to QuickBooks again. The error should no longer appear, and the full payout should post correctly.
