Release notes for Webgility Online v8.45.2

We're excited to introduce a series of enhancements in Webgility Online, which are designed to give merchants greater visibility, stronger platform compatibility, and a more seamless day-to-day experience across their ecommerce and accounting workflows.

Whats New?

Expanded Stripe Fee Visibility for Wix and Magento

Stripe fee tracking is now available for Wix and Magento integrations. Merchants using these platforms can now view detailed payment fee information directly within their order and accounting workflows, helping improve financial transparency and reconciliation accuracy. This capability was previously available only for Shopify stores.

Faster Shopify Onboarding with Automatic Fee Capture

New Shopify connections now include payment fee and net payable information from the very first order download during onboarding. This enhancement streamlines setup and ensures merchants have complete financial data immediately after connecting their store, eliminating additional configuration steps.

More Flexible Order Management for Amazon FBM and BigCommerce

To provide greater operational control, merchants can now:

  • Enable or disable Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) order downloads for Amazon.
  • Turn third-party order synchronization on or off for BigCommerce.

These new controls allow businesses to tailor order synchronization to match their specific fulfillment and accounting requirements.

Walmart OAuth2 Support Now Available

Webgility now supports Walmart's OAuth2 authentication standard directly through the Connection Manager and Quick Start setup experience. This enhancement ensures a secure, modern connection process while helping merchants remain compliant with Walmart's latest integration requirements.

Improved Multi-Currency Order Processing

Enhancements to multi-currency order handling provide a smoother experience for QuickBooks Online users operating with multi-currency enabled. Orders now flow through the expected processing path, reducing manual review and helping merchants maintain efficient order management workflows.

Enhanced Inventory Synchronization for Shopify

Inventory synchronization reliability has been strengthened for Shopify merchants. These improvements help maintain accurate stock levels across connected systems, supporting better inventory visibility and reducing the risk of unexpected inventory discrepancies.

Improved Refund Processing for Wix Merchants

Refund handling for Wix integrations has been enhanced to provide more consistent synchronization with QuickBooks Online. Merchants can now benefit from improved refund accuracy and streamlined accounting records across connected sales channels.

Better Session Stability and User Experience

Several enhancements have been made to session management and platform usability, including:

  • Improved session stability during active work sessions.
  • More consistent session timeout behavior across application pages.
  • Streamlined timeout notifications.
  • Clearer user messaging when sessions expire.

Together, these updates contribute to a smoother and more predictable user experience.

Continued Platform Compliance and Marketplace Compatibility

As part of our ongoing commitment to marketplace compatibility and long-term platform support:

  • eBay integration updates have been completed to align with the latest API requirements.
  • Etsy product listing synchronization has been enhanced, improving support for physical product creation and listing management workflows.

Delivering a More Connected Commerce Experience

These updates reflect our continued focus on helping merchants automate more of their operations, maintain accurate financial records, and stay connected with evolving marketplace requirements. We remain committed to delivering improvements that simplify ecommerce accounting and support business growth.
