Release Notes for Webgility Desktop v9.12.0
Webgility Desktop 9.12.0 is here — better payout reconciliation, Sales Orders that update in place, a faster Sales Tax mapping screen, and fewer app crashes on Rightworks.
What's New & Why It Matters
Improved Item-Level Discount Handling for Refunds — BetterPayout Reconciliation
When Shopify orders were refunded or edited, item-level discounts
could land on the wrong line, so invoice totals in QuickBooks
didn't match what the customer paid — and payouts failed to post.
Webgility now applies each discount to the exact item it belongs
to — so order totals match Shopify and payouts reconcile cleanly.
Sales Orders Updated in Place — No More Undo & Repost
When an order changed after posting, users had to undo the Sales
Order in QuickBooks and repost it — creating a new transaction
every time. Sales Orders can now be updated directly, keeping the
same QuickBooks transaction and its links intact.
Faster Sales Tax Mapping — From Hours to Under 5 Minutes
Managing complex tax mappings across thousands of jurisdictions on
a slow, heavy screen could take a couple of hours. The redesigned
Sales Tax mapping screen loads fast and makes adding or editing
mappings simple — reducing operation time from a couple of hours
to under 5 minutes.
Fewer App Crashes on Rightworks Servers
Rightworks customers saw server CPU spike to 100% several times a
day, causing slowdowns and app crashes. Webgility has reduced these
CPU spikes by improving thread handling
