In addition, SQL Server 2025 Express supports databases up to 50 GB, significantly increasing capacity compared to previous versions that were limited to 10 GB.
To align with this expanded capacity, the System Matrix database size monitoring has also been enhanced. Database size warning thresholds have been adjusted to provide more meaningful alerts and better visibility into database health.
