How to Update the Deposit Account for Amazon Sales Receipts and Repost Orders in Webgility Desktop

This article helps Webgility Desktop users update the deposit account used to record Amazon sales receipts in QuickBooks Desktop. It provides step-by-step instructions to change the account settings and repost affected orders to ensure accurate financial records.

Steps to Update the Deposit Account:

  1. Open Webgility Desktop

  2. Navigate to:
    Connections > Accounting > Sync Settings

  3. Next to Invoice/Sales Receipt, click on the Setup button.

  4. Choose the new Deposit Account from the dropdown.

  5. Click Save, then select Save and Continue to confirm your changes.


How to Repost Orders with the Updated Deposit Account:

  1. Go to the Orders section in Webgility Desktop.

  2. Locate the orders that were previously posted with the old deposit account.

  3. Right-click on each order or Select all, and choose Undo Sync.

  4. Once undone, right-click again and select Post to Quickbooks to post the order again using the updated account settings.
