How to solve Order Posting Issues from Wix Store to QuickBooks

This article helps Webgility Desktop users resolve issues where orders from a Wix store fail to post to QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. The problem is often caused by outdated or incorrect accounting settings copied from another profile, and the guide walks through reconfiguring both sales channel and accounting integration and configuration settings to fix it.

Overview

If you're experiencing issues with orders from your Wix store failing to post to QuickBooks, it may be due to outdated or incorrect accounting settings copied from a previous profile. This guide will help you resolve these issues by reconfiguring your integration settings.

Step-by-Step Resolution

1. Confirm Integration Settings in Wix

  • Log in to your Wix store manager dashboard.

  • Navigate to Connection > Sales Channel > Edit > Test to verify the current integration settings.

2. Test QuickBooks Connection

  •  In Webgility go to Connections > Accounting > Edit > Test connection.

3. Update and Save Settings

  • After re-authentication, navigate to Connection > Accounting > Sync Settings.

  • Ensure that all account settings, including chart of accounts and payment methods, are correct and up-to-date.

  • Click Save to apply the updated settings.

4. Test Transaction Posting

  • Create a new test order or simulate an order from your Wix store.

  • Verify that the transaction successfully posts to QuickBooks without any errors.
