How to Retrieve Older Order Data and Settlement Reports in Webgility Desktop
This article helps Webgility Desktop users retrieve order data and settlement reports beyond the default time limits in Webgility Desktop. It explains how to adjust settings to access older records for reporting, analysis, or compliance purposes.
System Limitations
-
Order Data
By default, Webgility allows downloads of order history from the past 180 days. You can adjust this setting to extend the range (e.g., up to 450 days) based on your configuration. -
Settlement Reports
Webgility allows downloads of settlement reports only for data generated within the last 120 days. This restriction is managed by an external system and cannot be modified within Webgility.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Adjust Historical Order Download Range
To increase how far back you can download order data:
-
Go to Connection > Sales Channel > Advance settings
-
Modify the Download Limit
Change the setting from 180 days to the desired range (e.g., 450 days). -
Save and Apply Changes
Save your changes. The new setting will take effect either immediately or after the next sync, depending on the platform's behavior.
2. Understand Settlement Report Download Limits
-
Webgility restricts settlement report downloads to the most recent 120 days.
-
This is a limitation set by the external provider and cannot be changed within Webgility.
-
To ensure access, download settlement reports regularly or use alternate reporting methods if you need older data.
By adjusting your order download settings and understanding system constraints, you can manage historical data access more effectively in Webgility.
