How to Restore Sync Settings in Webgility Online After BigCommerce UI Updates

After a BigCommerce interface update, some Webgility Online users have reported unexpected changes to their sales channel sync settings. These changes are not initiated by the user and may cause disruption in how data syncs between BigCommerce and Webgility.

How to Validate and Restore Sync Settings

1. Review Current Sync Settings

  • Navigate to Connections > Sales Channel > Settings in Webgility Online.

  • Review your current sync configuration and compare it with your typical or previously set options.

2. Restore Preferred Settings

If you notice changes:

  • Reconfigure the sync options according to your business needs.

    • Examples: Product sync, inventory sync, pricing updates, order download settings.

  • Save your updated configuration.

3. Download the Latest Settings

  • Navigate to Sync Settings > Products in Webgility Online.

  • In each tab, click Refresh Settings to begin downloading the latest data and settings from QuickBooks.

  • Under both the Product and Customer tabs, use the drop-down to choose either:

    • Refresh Latest Accounting Data, or

    • Download from Scratch (recommended if the latest data is not reflected).

  • Select Refresh Settings to initiate the data sync.

  • Wait for the download to complete. This may take several minutes depending on your QuickBooks data volume.

  • A notification will appear once the process is successfully finished.
