How to Restore Connection Between Webgility Desktop and QuickBooks Desktop

Resolution Steps
1. Run Applications as Administrator
Make sure both Webgility and QuickBooks are:

Open

Running as Administrator
Right-click each app icon and choose Run as administrator.
2. Locate the QuickBooks Company File
In QuickBooks Desktop, press
Ctrl + 1
to open the Product Information window.Note the path of the Company File listed.
Copy the Company File Location.
Close the information window.
3. Configure Webgility Connection to QuickBooks
Open Webgility.
Go to Connections > Accounting POS/ERP > Edit Connection.
Choose the correct QuickBooks version.
Paste the Company File location copied earlier.
Select the QuickBooks connection type (e.g., Local File, Unknown).
Choose the appropriate QuickBooks File Mode.
Click Test QuickBooks Connection.
4. Verify Connection
A success message should appear confirming that Webgility is now connected to QuickBooks.
