How to Resolve Inventory Mapping Errors Caused by Discontinued SKUs in Webgility Desktop

This article helps Webgility Desktop users in addressing errors and inventory mapping blocks in Webgility Desktop caused by discontinued SKUs. It offers guidance on re-mapping items and updating inactive or outdated mappings to restore accurate inventory synchronization and prevent posting errors.

Steps To Resolve:

  • In Webgility Desktop navigate to Products Tab, go to All Products, on the right-hand side click on the refresh icon to download the latest product's data.
  • Once the Products list has been refreshed, near the refresh icon beside the filter button there's a dropdown click on it and select Mapped Products then, once selected a sub-filter will show and select Incorrect Mapping
  • Remove any active incorrect mappings from the list, remove the filter and re-map the affected items.
  • Users may use the matched filter to verify their active matched items, note once the item is matched it's highly recommended to Not map that item.
