How to Migrate Webgility Desktop to a New Computer and reconnect It to QuickBooks Desktop

Part 1: Migrating Webgility to a New Computer
Step 1: Back Up the Existing Webgility Database

Open Webgility on your current computer.

Save the backup file to a shared location (external drive, Dropbox, or network folder) so it can be accessed from the new computer.
Step 2: Install Webgility Desktop on the New Computer

Visit the Webgility Portal and download the installer.

Run the installer and complete the installation process.
Step 3: Install SQL Server on the New Computer
You can install SQL Server in one of two ways:
Option A: Automatic Installation via Webgility

Launch Webgility Desktop.

"This is a new computer, install SQL Server and create Webgility database", then click Continue.
Option B: Manual Installation

Step 1: Launch QuickBooks and Prepare for Connection

Press F2 (or Ctrl + 1) to open the Product Information window.

Copy the Company File Location from this window.
Step 2: Add QuickBooks Connection in Webgility
