How to Manage Webgility Scheduler Startup Settings in Windows

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure:

  • You have access to the affected machine.

  • You have administrative rights or appropriate permissions to make changes to Windows startup and application settings.

How to Disable Webgility Scheduler Auto Startup

1.  Adjust Scheduler Settings in Webgility Desktop

  1. Open Webgility Desktop on the user’s machine.

  2. Go to the Settings > Run at Star

  3. Uncheck or toggle "Run at startup". (Note: The label may vary slightly depending on the version.)

  4. Click Save to apply your changes and close the settings dialog.

2️.  Check the Windows Startup Folder

For the current user:

  1. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.

  2. Type shell:startup and press Enter.

  3. In the Startup folder that opens, check for any shortcuts related to Webgility Scheduler.

  4. If you find any, right-click and delete them.

For all users:

  1. Press Win + R again.

  2. Type shell:common startup and press Enter.

  3. Repeat the same check and remove any Scheduler-related shortcuts if present.

3️. Confirm the Scheduler Is Disabled

  1. Restart the machine.

  2. Log in using the affected user’s account.

  3. Observe whether the Scheduler launches automatically.

If it doesn’t, the changes were successful!

If the Scheduler still starts automatically, try the following:

  • Open Task Scheduler and check if any scheduled tasks reference the Webgility application.

  • Check the Webgility configuration file to ensure settings aren’t being overridden on startup.
