The label save directory may be:

  • Blocked by permission settings

  • Temporarily inaccessible due to security software or Windows updates

Step-by-Step Fix

Step 1: Confirm the Current Label Path

  1. In Webgility Desktop, go to:
    Connections > Shipping > Label Settings

  2. Look at the field labeled Label Save Location

  3. Note the full folder path listed

Step 2: Test Folder Access

  1. Open File Explorer on your computer

  2. Copy and paste the folder path into the address bar

  3. Try to open the folder

Check for the following:

  • The folder exists and opens properly

  • You have read/write access (try creating and deleting a test file)

  • If it’s a network drive, ensure it’s connected

Step 3: Reassign the Label Directory

If the path is incorrect, broken, or unavailable:

  1. Return to Webgility Desktop > Connections > Shipping > Label Settings

  2. Click the Browse button next to the directory field

  4. Click OK or Save to confirm
