How to Fix Stamps.com Shipping Label Issues in Webgility Desktop

This article helps Webgility Desktop users resolve issues with generating shipping labels in Stamps.com when no printer or internet problems are apparent. The guide explains that the software must be installed on the C: drive, as Stamps.com requires its program files to run from this location for full functionality.

Step 1: Check Where Stamps.com Is Installed

  1. Open File Explorer.

  2. Find the folder where Stamps.com is currently installed.

  3. If it’s not under C:\Program Files (x86) or a similar path on the C: drive, you’ll need to move it.


🚚 Step 2: Move the Program to the C: Drive

  1. Close Stamps.com completely.

  2. Copy the current Stamps.com folder to:
    C:\Program Files (x86) or C:\Stamps.com

  3. (Optional) Delete the old folder from the other drive if you no longer need it.


🔗 Step 3: Fix Shortcuts and File References

  1. Right-click any desktop shortcut or Start Menu icon for Stamps.com.

  2. Click Properties.

  3. In the Target field, make sure the path points to the new folder on the C: drive.

  4. Update the shortcut if needed.
