How to Fix It
Step 1: Map the Unknown Payment Method

Open Webgility Desktop and review the error message—identify the unmapped payment method causing the issue.

Go to File > Accounting > Payment Method Mapping.

On the left side, find the payment method from Shopify that is marked as unknown or unmapped.

Map it to a matching payment method in your accounting system (e.g., QuickBooks).

If the payment method doesn’t exist in QuickBooks, create it there first.

Click Save, then resync the orders.
Tip:
Unmapped methods often come from third-party Shopify plugins or custom setups. Watch for these when new types appear.
Step 2: Exclude Canceled Orders from Sync

In Webgility Desktop, go to Channels > Download Settings for your Shopify store.
