How to Ensure product Quantity Consistency Across Sales Channels and QuickBooks Online via Webgility Online

This article helps Webgility Desktop users maintain consistency in item quantities between their sales channel and QuickBooks Online by guiding them through the inventory sync feature of Webgility Online.

Steps: 

  • To begin, log in to the Webgility application at https://my.webgility.com/.
  • In Webgility Online on the left hand side navigation panel click on, Products Tab and go to the Inventory Section.
  • Under Inventory in the dropdown menu, select the Out of Sync option to identify items whose quantities are not synchronized
  • Select the items you want to sync and click the Sync button at the bottom.
  • Upon clicking Sync, select the From and To options from the dropdown. For instance, if QuickBooks serves as your master data, set "From" to QuickBooks (Source) and "To" to Sales Channel (Destination)
  • Once, you'll receive a notification confirming the successful synchronization.
  • The user can confirm the same on their Sales Channel by searching the Item Name in Inventory List.
