How to Disable “Post Updates to Sales Channel” in Webgility Desktop Scheduler
This article helps Webgility Desktop users disable the "Post Updates to Sales Channel" option in Webgility Desktop’s scheduler. It provides step-by-step guidance to adjust scheduler settings and prevent automatic data posting back to the sales channel.
Steps to Disable “Post Updates to Sales Channel” in Scheduler
Follow the steps below to turn off posting updates from Webgility to your sales channel via the scheduler:
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Open Scheduler Settings
-
Launch Webgility Desktop.
-
You’ll find the Scheduler Indicator icon in the top-right corner, next to the sales channel drop-down menu.
Clicking this icon will open a new window with two available options:
-
Start Scheduler
-
Review Settings
-
2. Select Your Sales Channel
-
In the left-hand panel, choose the sales channel (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, etc.) where updates are being posted automatically.
-
This will open up specific scheduler options for that sales channel.
3. Locate "Post Updates to Sales Channel"
-
Within the scheduler options for the selected sales channel, look for the option labeled “Post updates to sales channel”.
-
This option controls whether Webgility automatically pushes order status updates to your online store.
4. Disable the Option
-
Uncheck the "Post updates to sales channel" box.
-
This action stops Webgility from sending automatic updates to the connected sales channel through the scheduler.
5. Save Changes
-
After disabling the option, click the Save button to apply your changes.
-
The setting will now reflect under the scheduler and updates will no longer be posted automatically.
Note:
Disabling this feature only affects scheduled postings. You can still manually post inventory or price updates when needed via the Webgility Dashboard.
