Overview
Webgility Online now supports integration with Xero Accounting, giving you the ability to automate your accounting tasks, sync your ecommerce data, and manage financials more efficiently.
After connecting your first sales channel, you will be prompted to connect your accounting software. Webgility Online currently supports US-based Xero organizations, and the default country of your organization must be set to the United States.
Follow the steps below to connect your Xero account to Webgility Online:
1). As soon as you are done connecting your Sales Channel, you can navigate to “Connect to Accounting Software” and then click on “Connect Accounting”
2). This will direct you to another window where you can select your accounting software i.e. Xero. So select Xero and then click on Next.
3). In the next window, you will be prompted to click on Connect and then you need to click on Connect to Xero.
4). Now it will ask you to login into your Xero account. As soon as you are logged in, it will open a popup for Xero User Consent page where you can provide the necessary permissions by clicking on Allow Access. If you have more than one organization, make sure you select the one you want to connect to Webgility Online.
5). After a minute or two, you should see a success message stating that Webgility is connected to your accounting system.
6). Now you can click on Finish and after authorizing, Webgility Online will begin downloading contacts, items, and other data from your Xero organization. Depending on how much information is in the company file, this can take a couple of minutes.
